⚡️Mega Raichu X’s ability appears to be Electric Surge.

In the latest trailer of Pokémon Champions, Raichu only has Volt Tackle (ボルテッカー) as its Electric-type move. After Mega Evolving, the yellow aura is on the battlefield, strongly suggesting it is triggered by its ability.

This would make Mega Raichu X the newest automatic Electric Terrain setter alongside Tapu Koko and Pincurchin ⚡

Based on various rumors, leaks, and information from the Teraleak, I've put together a speculative theory on how the story of Pokémon Winds & Waves could be structured.

As always, everything is subject to change, so take this as speculation rather than confirmation.

It appears the game could once again feature three different story paths, similar to Pokémon Scarlet & Violet:

1) 🏆 Path of the Gyms

(Similar to Victory Road in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet)

Travel across the region challenging Gyms while following the story of a local character determined to protect nature and prevent excessive land development.

🍃 This character may also have a connection to the region's Champion.

2) 🧪 Path of the Majin Laboratories

3) 🌿 Path of the Nushi

(Similar to Path of Legends in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet)

Join a companion from Kanto who suffers from a long-term illness that becomes an important part of the story.

💚 Could this path revolve around searching for a rare herb native to the region in order to cure them, similar to Arven's quest to help Mabosstiff?

Maybe it’s inspired by Poké Pelago + Secret Bases, but with a dynamic system where the island gradually grows and changes over time depending on your progression, Pokémon, exploration, or choices 🌊🏝️
