The Rules committee is NOT scheduled to include NDAA in the Rule next week. Rather than delete my tweet below, I’m leaving it up, because at some point House Leaders will bring the NDAA to the floor, and will likely bring it through the Rules committee. We just don’t know when.
Rules Committee meets Monday night and will decide if our Amendment to strip section 219 (merging US military tech & supply chains with Israel’s) from the NDAA will get a vote.
If they don’t let our amendment get a vote, I will vote against their rule. https://t.co/MoAjm3FAuw
We are back to bombing Iran during the ceasefire for the Iran war that is not a war because Iran bombed a vessel for crossing the Strait of Hormuz that they don’t control yet apparently control.
Not sure how they bombed the vessel because we have totally and completely obliterated their military and beat them in the war that is not a war like 40 times now.
I’m so glad that Trump ran for president to end forever foreign wars otherwise I might start thinking this war that is not a war that we won like 40 times is starting to turn into another forever foreign war in the Middle East.
Good thing Pete Hegseth, Secretary of the Department of Defense, I mean War, is headed to Israel to take orders from, I mean ask for advice, on how to totally wipe out Iran, I mean bring peace.
I’m totally sure no one in the executive branch or donors will do any sort of insider trading based on super duper secret military decisions.
You know the kind based on intelligence that Congress is going to fuse with Israel’s military after they all vote to pass the National Defense (war) Authorization Act.
Because this is exactly what we all voted for when we said Make America Great Again.
I think that when we're problematizing things, a lot of research tends to make folks over-specify.
"Phones are bad; they reduce your attention span."
"LLMs are bad; they made you dumber."
"The news is bad because [myriad reasons]."
But, I think you can boil a whole lot of problems down to one central theme:
They can take you out of the present moment.
It isn't that *phones* rot your brain, or make you wreck your car - it's that they take you out of the present, and drive your focus to some external thing that frequently isn't centered around growth.
Which rots your brain or makes you wreck your car.
I don't think *things* rot your brain, because nostalgia or politics or doomerism will do it as cleanly as Tiktok.
The more that you can force yourself to live in the *right now*, and focus on the next way that YOU are going to grow - the more you begin to realize that the only limitation is you.
And that helps you live in the present, because it means you don't have to be bitter about past slights or shitty behavior - and you shouldn't, because that's less time in the now.
No one was ever holding you back, because you're the only one who is able to do that.

Thanks to Anthropic, frontier AI has officially become a national power asset. US AI companies are turning into government puppets.
The strongest models go to the state, critical infrastructure insiders, big corporations, and elites. Everyone else gets watered-down, “safe” versions.
This isn’t temporary. It’s the start of a permanent divide. As AI grows god-like in power, it becomes the ultimate tool for control: economic, political, military, and social.
Governments will hoard the best capabilities to solidify their rule and class hierarchy. Ordinary people get the crumbs.
China won’t open its best models either once it hits the critical point. No major power will.
We’re sleepwalking into a Cyberpunk reality: a tiny elite with god-tier AI ruling over everyone else with mediocre tools. Once this gatekeeping starts, it’s almost impossible to reverse.
This is how freedom and opportunity die, quietly, under the guise of “national security.”
Wake up. The age of AI-powered class solidification is here.
Gov't is like this sticky, toxic slime that corrupts everything it touches.
Religion, media, Ai...it doesn't matter.
The only way to be safe is to limit the things that it touches.
@LLMSherpa I wasn’t sure if the notorious green beanie was real. Thought it might have been a GPT image. You should have bought two or three. I do that with work pants. When they fit good and have all the appropriate pockets, I buy 5 or 6. If I like them - they stop making them
@scottmelker Constant financial drain. Constant emotional extremes. Constant feelings of inadequacies.
Constant feelings of immense pride, joy and love.
Best things I accidentally acquired.
