@Duchess_Eliza I'm a big fan of @Arapahoe_Basin for more advanced skiers. As far as avoiding the crowds goes what really matters the most is when you come. Week days are always better than weekends & the holidays are the worst. @CopperMtn is also good plus any of the areas further from Denver.
