A terrible tragedy occurred on this date, May 23, 1999. The wrestling world didnβt just lose a gifted performer, we lost a truly great man. Owen Hart passed away following a horrific fall from the rafters at Kemper Arena in Kansas City, Missouri during a WWF Pay-Per-View event.
Owen was respected by everyone who knew him. He was talented, humble, funny, and one of the kindest people you could ever meet in this business. He left behind an incredible legacy that will never be forgotten.
Pictured here aboard the WWF WrestleVessel are Marlena, Goldust, Jim Ross, Marc Mero, Steve Austin, Owen Hart, and Triple H. Today we remember Owen Hart and continue to keep his family, friends, and fans in our thoughts. π
The 43 team decided we wanted to do something unique for our fallen soldier, Senior Airman Plite. So, we replaced our usual jack arrow, to his helicopter. We are thankful for all the men and women who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. πΊπΈ
@EricEstepp17 Iβm not mad about bc of some that have gone in before him with less than eye popping statistics. I guess the big question most of us would like to know is what is the bar of measurement and are voters even looking at the career as a whole or is it more a popularity contest?
