@TheCinesthetic Agree on Powell & Pressburger. Pick any three from 1943 to 1948.
But also Preston Sturges:
The Lady Eve
Sullivan's Travels
The Palm Beach Story.
@anon_opin Satanic Majesties is arguably the worst Stones album of the 60s. And only their best come anywhere near Pepper. And Pepper is only the 4th best Beatles album.
@batcountry1980 Not only that but Jimmy Page's plagiarism alone discounts Zeppelin as a great band for me and completely undercuts his argument. They were a very good band at times, an important and inspirational one perhaps, but are a long way short of the best.
@NathanB30426880@StanCollymore There's 11 games left. Sunderland only need 3 points and they'll have enough to survive. Palace and Brighton are only 1 and 2 points behind them. All of them are out of the race after the results this weekend.
@RichardS7370 The "I can't believe they're not top 5" are;
Oasis, The La's, Pavement, The Breeders, The Sundays, The Charlatans, New FADS, Chapterhouse, Catherine Wheel, The Boo Radleys, Suede, Kristin Hersh, Tribe Called Quest

2) Swervedriver - Raise
3) Ride - Nowhere
4) PJ Harvey - Dry
5) Sugar - Copper Blue
