@Absa I have reached the deadline and I can't pay because FNB has effectively trapped my money. @FNBSA , I need this escalated and resolved urgently. I need access to my own money and I need someone to take ownership of this problem instead of sending me from department to department.
@FNB_SouthAfrica your service has been absolutely shocking. I have a business property bond with FNB. The property was purchased through my business, which at the time banked with @Absa. I was awarded a bond with FNB and well before any of these issues, I opened an FNB account.
@Absa I pay significant bank fees to be a private client yet I am receiving absolutely NONE of the service I would expect from this offering. So what exactly am I paying all of this money for? I have purchased a property, paid the deposit and now need to pay the balance.
@Absa It is completely unacceptable that banks can hold us hostage to their bullshit processes and procedures that make no sense. If I want to change something on MY bank account, I should be able to do so without a problem.
@Absa I have spoken to multiple consultants. Iโve been transferred between departments repeatedly. Nobody can resolve the problem. I now have another FNB consultant trying to get assistance from someone in a private FNB suite who was apparently laughing at how terrible the system is.
@Absa It wonโt let me transfer it anywhere else. It wonโt let me pay the money out. My money is effectively TRAPPED. I have been trying for 3 WEEKS to get FNB to simply change the nominated account. I have filled in all their forms and submitted all documentation that they would need.
@Absa The problem? The nominated account is still the Absa account that was originally linked to the business. Despite the bond being visible on my FNB profile and my FNB business account already existing the system will not allow me to transfer the money from my bond account
@Absa I confirmed this MULTIPLE times with different consultants before transferring a lump sum into the bond account. Now I need access to MY OWN MONEY and I canโt get it. The system says the money can only be transferred to the nominated account.
@Absa The bond account shows up on my FNB profile as one of my account and is linked to my FNB banking profile along with my main FNB business account. I was specifically told by an FNB consultant that I have a Flexi Bond meaning I can put money into the account and take it out.
