@supertanskiii If the electors in the constituency think that if they don't elect Burnham then Starmer will stay as PM then Burnham will win by a landslide.
@DPJHodges If the electoral believe that if they elect Burnham he will become PM shortly afterwards and if they elect the Reform candidate instead then Starmer stays PM then it's a straight Burnham / Starmer for PM vote then Burnham will walk it.
@lewis_goodall Unfortunately if you reduce taxes on middle and low income people in the UK house prices and rents will go up and much of the benefit will end up with people who already own houses. Rents rise to absorb all available money. You need to build like stink to stop that first.
@MartinSLewis She's sat down now. If the broadcasters can get interesting sound bites out of what she said for a general audience they deserve a medal.
@faisalislam Even those running the Tory campaign could see no way out of that one. They would be asked about it and look stupid until they apologised.
@MartinSLewis If my wife inherits my defined contribution pension pots from me inheritance tax free (if I die before 75) can she leave (some of) the money in the pots and pass it on IHT free is she dies before she is 75?
@MartinSLewis Having taken "partial retirement" from the NHS 1995 scheme on my 60th birthday I have got a lump sum. I'm still in the 2015 scheme. If I put some of the lump sum into a defined contribution scheme not linked to my employment will I be caught by the recycling of lump sum rules?
@sirrobinbobin @lewis_goodall Sitting in A&E for 9 hours you have nothing to do but think 'why are all these people here?' 'when is it my turn?' 'should I come back at another time?' 'is it always like this?' 'this is appalling 'concentrates the mind on what is important to you more than what's in a newspaper
