@birderiam Definitely possible. This Fall has been a little strange. I had a Yellow-breasted Chat this morning. The previous latest Mississippi sighting was October 29th, 1938π³
It was business as usual today at WBF, only the pigeons got a liβl bigger. Volunteer @miriamabrahams represented pigeonkind exceptionally well in a homemade(!) costume, but our director Rita McMahon had to teach her how to strut all the same.

Hey all! A year ago I asked you to help my friends at Delta Wind Birds tag shorebirds in the new habitat they're working to create in the Mississippi Delta. You did help! And they're tagging birds!

Hey #BirdTwitter - how about a #follow? We are a non-profit based in NYC working hard to protect endangered Piping Plovers. Expect photos, up to date information, and tales of the ups and downs of our friends that spend March - August with us in the Big π! Thank you!
The one time I wish the setting sun wasn't on the bird. A pair of Great Horned Owls that appear to be starting courtship. Yup, birds feeding below me to cross the Gulf and π¦ above that are thinking about a nest.
@birdmanjefe @BirdIzLife Migration, I have to image some giant flocks could be around. I've had a few with several hundred down here. But they should've been making their signature super high-pitched squealing call. Almost like it's impossible for them not to open their beak.
@birdmanjefe @BirdIzLife I took the flock mentality route. I mean the options are pretty limited and most can easily be ruled out with your images. My only other thought was Cedar Waxwing. But the wing structure looks kind of meh.
