WB hated The #SnyderCut because it proved them wrong for trying to change the film in the first place. They wanted it to fail. Surely if it did so badly, wouldn't they have just released the official numbers? That would shut Snyderverse fans up.

It would be great if WB just released the official global numbers of The #SnyderCut. It would put the whole 'it was a failure', 'it was a success' argument to bed. It's called a global phenomenon by WM & is top selling Blu Ray for 4 weeks in a row, but no viewership numbers yet.

I just feel that some people are using the #RestoreTheSnyderVerse hashtag to abuse the new DCEU and attack those who enjoy it. Obviously it’s just a small vocal minority, like every toxic side of fandoms. But I feel there are some that lead the hashtag and bash other DCEU films.

I can tell you that that was never the collective belief or the aim of the hashtag. It was to allow the Snyderverse to CO-EXIST with the new DCEU. To utilise the multiverse. Personally, the new DCEU isn’t really for me, but if it is for you then that is great!

Spider-Man having a 3 film character arc is fine, but Superman not being Superman by the end of his 1st movie is Snyder not understanding the character. I found No Way Home's ending so powerful because we could see the journey he had gone on. Superman was going to have the same

It's a character arc. If by the end of Man of Steel he was the classic Superman from the comics. Then he would basically have completed his journey. Snyder put Superman into a real world, he made him relatable. Emotionally vulnerable but we would have seen him overcome that.

It's become a trend to claim that Snyder doesn't understand Superman. He does, they just don't understand the story and character arc he was trying to create. Superman literally was going to inspire the entire world to become a Justice League to fight Darkseid in JL 3.
