All in all, the finale was great! It was worth the money and time and I hope the end reception goes well! My heart goes out to Goose, she did fantastic with this little series, even if the fandom doesn't treat her right! And to the people who got mad at her: Suck it up, weirdo.
Just saw The Amazing Digital Circus: The Final Act and wowie wow! That was a really good finale to the story. Goose really is one of my inspirations, the story she created really is a good one! I just don't get why people were so mad about it. I didn't see the leaks, but
DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT JUST HAPPENED TO GOD OF WAR..
FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 20 YEARS, THE GAME ISN’T ABOUT KRATOS.
it's about Faye - his dead wife. the woman whose funeral opened the entire Norse saga. and if your first thought is "who cares about her," that's the trick the last two games played on you.
everything you did, she had already prepared:
- she marked the trees and set the path that would reveal the full prophecy
- she sent Kratos and Atreus on the exact journey they needed to become who they had to be
- she stayed so hidden that the gods were still hunting her long after she was ashes
- and through all of it, she was never once playable. just a body on a pyre. a face in flashbacks.
Kratos didn't lead that saga. he followed it.
we played the man three steps behind his wife.
now we finally play the woman who was three steps ahead of everyone.
These people call us snowflakes but the moment we get a female protagonist, they get weirdly insecure and scared over playing as a woman in a video game
don't understand why suddenly there's a discussion about "asexuals aren't queer" on the first day of pride month as if asexuals don't make a significance in queer history 😭 i'm a proud asexual and i'm queer idgaf
"asexuality isn't lgbtq" just proves that asexuality is even frowned upon by the gays and we're not taken seriously. Who do you think wrote all that life-changing gay smut you read while in the closet?
