@GolfweekNichols Thank you for highlighting Amari - she is a great role model for kids, especially girls who have followed her career since the #ShortGame documentary. Our @LPGAGirlsGolf InlandGolfAcademy had TShirts made and cheered for at the 18th green - Amari is a RoleModel @LPGA 2027

@GolfweekNichols @EpsonTour @LPGAGirlsGolf @LPGA Great tournament - we had a lot of fun watching the players, especially our homegrown girl @AmariAveryGolf *Amari'sArmy ⛳💞

CROMVOIRT, Netherlands — Anna Nordqvist hitched her wagon to Charley Hull and Lottie Woad and refused to change course at the 2026 Solheim Cup. Not after the English pair managed only a half point after two sessions on Friday. Nor after they suffered a 6-and-5 thrashing on Saturday morning.

By the time Nordqvist sent them out for an unprecedented fourth time on Saturday afternoon at Bernardus Golf in the Netherlands, the success of her captaincy might hinge on the result. The Swede was going to live and die by this top-10 pairing, and she must have figured, what are the odds they can’t win one of four?

Turns out, pretty strong.

@acaseofthegolf1 Thank you for providing context to the DQ --

[jenny bethune @SoCalGolfKids]

@golfweek @GolfweekNichols I agree with you-- sponsors are paying for the tournament - and the @LPGA needs more eyes on their product -- so many folks talking about this exemption -- we just need to see similar support for women golfers from less represented communities.

[jenny bethune @SoCalGolfKids]
