It is with great sadness that the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department honors the memory of Biola University Chief of Campus Safety and Associate Vice President, Chief John “Chief O” Ojeisekhoba, who sadly passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025.

We extend our deepest condolences to Chief O’s family, friends, and colleagues within the Biola University Campus Safety Department.

Rest peacefully Chief O. Your many years of service, leadership, compassion, and dedication will never be forgotten.

Not much shake up in the standings from the latest week of matches. La Familia and Real Sociedad continue to fight for that top spot in 1st Div., but the Royals have a game in hand! Artesia and IE Republic maintain their sizable leads as well, in their respective divisions.

The SoCal Premier League Player of the Week - presented by U.S. Army @usarmy - is La Familia FC defender Marc Farias! In their last match, after finishing the first half at 0-0, Marc scored 2 goals, sealing their victory. La Familia is now tied for 1st place in the 1st Division.

While standings in the 1st Division are unchanged, La Familia FC is now tied in points for the lead with Real Sociedad Royals. Meanwhile in the Coast and in LA/IE, top teams IE Republic FC and Artesia DES FC hold onto their top spot by a decent margin. #SWPLsoccer
