Loyola makes it interesting, but a missed serve at the net gives Newport Harbor set 2 25-23 and a 2-0 lead in the match. Speaking of missed serves, the Sailors missed 5 of them in set 2, but came up big in the late stages of the set.

It was a tough loss for @BHSBVB, seeing it’s season one to an end. But they lots to be proud of this year. With the amount of talent returning next year (Noah Huang, the Graves Brothers, Noah Lee and Luke Morrison), the Patriots will definitely be a team to watch for next year.

In Division 4, Saddleback fell to Monrovia in straight sets (but you all probably found out earlier), ending their season. Tough end for the Roadrunners, but an outstanding season nonetheless from them.

In Division 3, Capo Valley Christian punched its ticket to the Regional Final with a 3-set win over Sunny Hills. The Eagles will play Francis Parker at home on Saturday.

Tough loss for the Lancers, but outstanding season nonetheless. They have lots to be proud of this year.
