And she couldn’t have been into Ian cause Sarah said they were hooking up on and off for 2 years and said it’s “super casual and not romantic” and Ian thought Nikki got with Bear to “get back at him” which means Ian fucked it up somehow cuz why would she wanna get back at him?

And before telling him she put in her 2 weeks and is leaving when he said he wasn’t coming out to work on stuff she said “Ooo no, I wanted to see you tonight” and later “We’re running out of time, might wanna skip that stuff you’re working on”

I may be reaching a bit here, but I believe there were several subtle hints at the beginning of the movie that suggested that the real Nikki might have been attracted to Bear, despite Sarah’s claim that she has been having secret affairs with Ian.

1. Nikki calls Bear and encourages him to join her and the rest of the friend group for trivia night
2. When they were talking at the bar, there was playful banter, and the chemistry was there
3. Nikki paid for Bear’s piña colada
4. Even when Bear was shy and hesitant to tell Nikki that she bought her a gift from the crystal store, she was still willing to listen to what he had to say
5. Nikki told Bear that he is the only person that will listen whenever she needs someone to talk to
6. Nikki said that when she has a crush on a guy, no one knows
7. Nikki wanted Bear to confess his romantic attraction to her, but got frustrated when he chickened out and just said that they’re “good friends”

May be a wild take but I think Nikki liked Bear before the curse which makes homie more of a dipshit. Had both girls liking him, had a win win and still lost🤷🏾‍♂️
