-HFpEF single greatest unmet need in CV medicine
-55% of HF in pts with diabetes is HFpEF
-80% of pts with HFpEf will develop AF #EPeeps
-Basic Scientists and Clinicians have made progress independently

#Amylin and #metabolicsurgery? There may be an opportunity to look at this relationship a little deeper. Seems that #Amylin is related to fat not sucrose per Dr. Mietlicki-Baase. Work so far seems to be sucrose related. Worth exploring? #Obesityweek2022 @ASMBS
