I grew up in a middle class family where money was tight, but the one lesson from my childhood was we never take advantage of others. That’s what Saul Goodman has done, and that’s what we’re going to fix.

That’s why today I’m announcing I’m running for governor.

In continuing our mission of recovery. In this year’s budget we have included a new expanded child tax credit.

This new tax credit will allow families to receive up to $4,000 to raise our next generation. That’s the difference our administration is making.

In following our manifesto commitments today I met with law enforcement officials to discuss our plans to put 10,000 more officers on our streets.

This administration is committed to cutting both crime and the causes of crime.

The BUILD act will cut needless restrictions on permits. The act will also make small units far easier to build, cut renting costs and buy up old property to be built into new housing.

This is the New Mexico we are building for the next generation.

Order 2023-03: the Covid Emergency

This order will instruct the Department of Health to begin widespread covid 19 vaccination. The department will operate using a strategy of mobile vaccination units, rural partnerships and community health services. All costs will be covered.

Order 2023-02: Housing affordability

This order will instruct the DFA to immediately alongside other agencies to publish a review on permitting reform, homelessness, land usage and housing affordability. The findings from this review will be implemented in an act this year.
