Truly remarkable how many people have told the Pope, in some way or another, to "shut up and dribble." Or corrected him on the Bible, despite their thin education on theology. Or told him to stay out of US affairs, despite him being a US citizen. The hubris is amazing.

BREAKING: CNN's polling wizard Harry Enten reveals that Pope Leo is the "most popular person in America" and is "absolutely crushing" Trump in the latest numbers.

This explains why the MAGA cult leader is so angry...

"Maybe President Trump is jealous of Pope Leo XIV because it is a blowout," Enten said. "Pope Leo XIV at plus 34, look at where Donald Trump is, at minus 12! It's not even close! It's a nearly 50 point blowout amongst the American public at large."

"Pope Leo XIV absolutely crushing President Trump when it comes to how popular they are, at least as of the last month. And I will note that Pope Leo was the most popular person tested by NBC News," he continued.

"I believe the president is making a humongous mistake going after the most popular guy in America, at least well-known guy," said Enten.

"President Trump is struggling with American Catholics. Look at this.... Maybe this is part of the reason why he's going after the pope. U.S. Catholics on Trump, you know, you go back to November of 2024. Look at this...." said Enten. "President Trump crushed, crushed Kamala Harris by 20 points. But down he goes, down he goes into the Dead Sea. Look at this...

"Minus four points! That's a nearly 25 point switcheroo in the wrong direction. Net approval rating among U.S. Catholics, U.S. military action against Iran. Minus 10 points," he went on. "Quite negative. You think that's low, though? Come over to this side of the screen..."

"Trump on Iran. Look at this. They're even more sour on Trump. 20 points underwater," said Enten. "So the bottom line is this: The pope is emblematic of Catholics here in the United States."

"The pope is far more popular with the American public than Trump is here in the United States," he added. "And Trump has been struggling with Catholics here in the United States, very much so losing a lot of ground, as you see right here, a nearly 25 points switcheroo. And this ain't going to help."

These numbers should surprise no one. Trump is growing less and less popular by the day. Between launching his illegal Iran War on behalf of Israel and his ongoing Epstein scandal, there's nothing that a person with a functioning conscience can like about this man.

Meanwhile, Pope Leo is calling for an end to the war and kinder treatment of brutalized migrants. He represents the best that the Christian faith has to offer and exemplifies the teachings of Jesus himself.

BREAKING: A Catholic priest unleashes a viral takedown of Donald Trump after he attacked Pope Leo and posted an image of himself as Jesus Christ healing a sick man.

"You are only a man @realDonaldTrump, and someday you will stand before our Lord Jesus Christ. You claim our Holy Father @Pontifex is weak, but it takes more strength to do what one should rather than simply what one wants," Father Joseph DeMarzo of the Diocese of Paterson, New Jersey wrote on X.

"You intervened in Venezuela under the pretext of stopping drugs and criminals from entering our country, and under Nicolás Maduro you described the regime in terms of narco-terrorism," he continued. "My qualm is the name games you play. Do you think you can simply legitimize actions by denoting terminology to suit your interest? This you did."

"In the same way, you and Benjamin Netanyahu undermine the true meaning of justice through continued acts of unconscionable war crimes, all in the name of 'self-defense,'" Father DeMarzo continued. "But with the Lord, there will be no altering of words and their meaning; all that will be left is the truth of what really happened."

"You call the Holy Father weak because he calls for peace? What is weak is bombing children in Gaza in the name of national interest," he wrote "What is weak is saying this is God’s country, yet by your actions you act as an enemy of the cross."

Father DeMarzo went on to question Trump's handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly Operation Warp Speed and the vaccines. He said that "questions and debates" remain about the vaccines and while we don't agree with that assessment, it was Trump who brought up COVID protocols during his attack on Leo. And, as DeMarzo pointed out, Trump was president when COVID hit.

"Inspired by Christian charity, I implore you, repent," the priest wrote. "We are Christ first, not MAGA first. Our first allegiance is to God and His Kingdom. Are you God first or MAGA first? If God first, why do some of your actions betray that truth? If you come after the Church and the Holy Father @Pontifex_de, don’t think I’ll be silent. I only fear God."
