The world plays football, but 'Muricans play soccer. It's like hockey but using your legs, on grass, and without pads.
I talk about Soccer. And 'Murica.
@kendallbaker@washingtonpost Top and bottom (LAFC/VGK/Nashville on top, FC Cincy on bottom), show the difference a small sample size makes.
On the other hand, the Canadiens are the oldest club in the top 10, by a pretty wide margin, so...damn.
UPDATE: Called @AppleSupport to get the $150 charge removed. Was told it was an error and they’d take care of it…but guess what?
They just charged me ANOTHER $150.
This is a movie script at this point - not sure if comedy or horror.
Dear @SoundersFC - why do you insist on using email titles for your STM emails that do not reflect the most important items (to STMs) within? (This is not the first time.)
@https_500@JeremiahOshan Personally, I'd like to know why some people have been so fixated on a player from whom they were told repeatedly not to expect much.
Did you know that at @Mariners games, “betting-related abusive language will not be tolerated”?
@MLB has changed, and not just in ways where they “speed up” games by encouraging more hitting. #TEXvsSEA
@JeremiahOshan@KingBraxx Just a cursory glance suggests it’s a case of one of many financial institutions in the 20th century using “first” in their names. It’s also a locally-based business for SLC. No management-related controversies I can see.
@hatbacksea@SoundersFC I did - at 4 pm precisely fans were being allowed in one group at a time at approximately one minute intervals to a basically empty restaurant. Decided not to wait 20+ minutes for a table and went down the street.
Basically a place like @hatbacksea needs to understand it’s not a destination, it’s a way stop before an event. Get ‘em in, get ‘em watered and fed, and move ‘em out.
Was hoping to get into the @hatbacksea before the Sounders match. Upon opening they were letting in one party every minute or two. 20+ minutes to get into an empty restaurant?
Left and got immediate seats at The Gantry, plus cheaper prices.
