I was impressed by Secretary of State Marco Rubio's speech at the Munich Security Conference. He indeed addressed a number of particular political issues, but what most grabbed my attention was his stress on the common culture that unites Europe and America. He cited Dante, Shakespeare, the Sistine Chapel, Cologne Cathedral—even the Beatles as expressions of basic cultural intuitions that still inform the West. But he pressed the matter further, insisting, in the spirit of both Christopher Dawson and Pope Benedict XVI, that that culture is grounded ultimately in the Christian faith. It is simply the case that reverence for the dignity of the individual, for human rights, for political freedom, and for equality comes, in the final analysis, from the Christian Gospel. Basic to his presentation was the conviction that Europe and America will truly flourish when each re-discovers its spiritual mooring.

My 70+ year old southern Baptist parents are joining the Catholic Church. Not too many things have made me more joyful. Regrettably, I didn’t talk much about my Catholic faith with them when we entered the Church in 2012. If I’m honest, I never wanted to get into a theology debate with my parents. We had talked a few times about some differences, but it was all pretty shallow and that was really how I preferred to keep it. I feel ashamed about that now. BUT, God still found a way in my absence. He showed them something…the beauty, the history, the teachings, I mean, the fullness of the Gospel…that made them want to know more. And once they started to learn, they didn’t want to stop. But it certainly wasn’t because of me. Unbeknownst to me, my mom was going to my 19-year-old daughter with her questions throughout the past few years. And Grace is her sponsor into the Church. ❤️❤️ God is so good and so gracious and he has certainly been to me and my family. Definitely more than I deserve. St. Cecelia, pray for us. 🪉

Hong Blackwell, 67, a Vietnamese immigrant who worked logistics for 16 years, got several hundred thousand dollars.

She bought her husband a Toyota Tacoma and retired in peace.

One employee took 25 family members to Cancún.

Others paid off homes, funded college tuition, and cleared decades of debt.

Why 15%? Walker's answer:

"It's more than 10%."

According to the Guinness World Records, Venezuelan Juan Vicente Pérez Mora is the oldest man in the world. He turned 114 years old on May 27.

His secret to happiness and longevity? Love of God and prayer.

He also always carries his rosary and prays it twice daily.

He was married for 60 years, until his wife's death in 1997. They had six sons and five daughters, today with 41 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
