Rather than requiring users to tag their content as AI-generated, Pinterest detects the use of AI through the image’s metadata.

1. TikTok still faces a ban in the US if no buyer is found 🇺🇸

TikTok has until 4 April to negotiate a deal with a new buyer or come under joint ownership with Byte Dance and the US government – if not, then it faces a full ban.

5. Instagram is rolling out a range of updates to the grid 🤔

After replacing the 1:1 grid with 4:5 previews, Instagram is working on two more updates: an Edit Grid tool to customise your grid view, and an update that relocates Stories Highlights to a separate tab within the grid.
