The key to good follow up is adding value. Just chasing, people will ignore (but it's better than nothing)
โ Send them a useful article / case study.
โ Engage and interact with them online.
โ Send them a quick start guide.
I think we don't like following up because we don't want to look desperate or needy.
BUT...
75% of buyers expect/want a company to make between 2 and 4 follow-ups before giving up.
Never go into business with friends.
This has never worked for me and I've tried it 3 times. Always ends badly and usually over money. Although one ended due to sexual deviancy (long story).
Marketing is hard to quantify.
A lot of marketing feels like a waste of time, until you stop it and realise it was a catalyst that made other things work.
