The training programme also featured an expert session on disability and inclusion, with experts nominated by Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya National Institute for Persons with Physical Disabilities (Divyangjan), under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD), Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, and the National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (NIEPID), Regional Centre, Noida. They shared valuable insights on the needs and perspectives of Divyaangjan and the importance of an inclusive approach in Census operations.

अहमदाबाद में आयोजित वर्ल्ड आर्चरी पैरा सीरीज 2026 में भारत ने 4 गोल्ड, 3 सिल्वर और 8 ब्रॉन्ज सहित कुल 15 मेडल जीते हैं।

पैरा एथलीट शीतल देवी ने शूट-ऑफ जीतकर अपना पहला इंडिविजुअल वर्ल्ड आर्चरी पैरा आर्चरी खिताब प्राप्त किया है। शीतल देवी का संघर्ष, संकल्प और सफलता पूरे देश के लिए गौरवमय प्रेरणा है।

इस ऐतिहासिक उपलब्धि पर शीतल देवी को हार्दिक बधाई एवं उज्ज्वल भविष्य के लिए हार्दिक शुभकामनाएं।

Moving agricultural products into global markets also requires solutions for transport, shelf life, product development and production. APEDA is working with research institutions to address these export-oriented challenges.

From value-added millet and rice products to improved packaging and new varieties, these efforts can support greater market readiness and create opportunities for Indian agricultural products to compete in international markets.

Recognition of India’s organic certification in international markets can make it easier for Indian organic products to meet market-entry requirements. APEDA is advancing this through arrangements with Taiwan and Australia, an interim arrangement with New Zealand and technical discussions with the European Union.

Wider recognition can help Indian organic producers and exporters connect with more global markets and tap emerging opportunities for value-added agricultural products.

नई दिल्ली के नेताजी नगर स्थित अपने कार्यालय कक्ष में आज सामाजिक न्याय और अधिकारिता मंत्रालय के दिव्यांगजन सशक्तिकरण विभाग द्वारा संचालित पर्पल फेयर्स के विस्तार विषयक समीक्षा बैठक में प्रतिभाग किया।

वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों को स्मरण करवाया कि पर्पल फेयर न केवल दिव्यांग बंधु भगिनी की प्रतिभा और समावेशिता के उत्सव हैं बल्कि ये सामाजिक धारणा में एक बड़े बदलाव के भी साक्षी हैं। दिव्यांगता से आगे इनमें क्षमता, कौशल, योगदान और उद्यमिता को प्रोत्साहन व मान्यता मिलती है।

विभाग के संबंधित अधिकारियों को देशभर में पर्पल फेयर के विस्तार और इनको गंभीरतापूर्वक एवं संवेदना के साथ क्रियान्वित करने के निर्देश दिए।

Different needs. One shared right—the right to belong.

Multiple disabilities may affect different aspects of a person’s life, including mobility, communication, learning, hearing, or vision. But disability does not diminish a person’s aspirations, abilities, or potential.

With accessible education, assistive devices, appropriate therapies, communication support, and a supportive environment, persons with multiple disabilities can participate meaningfully and live with dignity and independence.

Inclusion is not about removing differences—it is about removing barriers and creating equal opportunities for everyone.
