It makes important changes to the current MH Act, the first since 2007.

It updates the Act in line with evidence & human rights.

@ediemmill My children were the same when they were young so I am very aware when out walking my dog to keep her on a close lead near children. My dog is the friendliest and gentlest but I’ve lost count of the loose dogs that come running up to her - lucky for them she is friendly hey!

@davearossiter Going to the shop on the way to school is cause for detention? Why? If the children conduct themselves properly in said shops I don’t see how it is anything to do with the school what they do pre the start of their day as long as they are on time.
