Charles Darwin walked along it in 1836, 184 years ago.

He noted, in "Voyage of the Beagle", that the locals up here were drunken, idle and rude.

As a local, I'm happy to confirm that nothing much has changed.

I've been asked to read/answer questions about my 2nd collection, 'Map of a Plantation', set on a Jamaican cane estate in the c19th. There's no fee. Now a poet and an enslaved person are not the same at all, but no fee seems wrong. Any thoughts?
