I have been spending most of my non-clinical hours looking at the Modi government's public funded published studies on Cow-based product research that are published in pre-clinical journals [thank you to everyone who sent me those full papers].
I am truly dissapointed to notice that most of these publications have been poorly peer-reviewed. I do not know how they got through such journals of repute.
Various papers from 2025 and 2026 from BITS Pilani, IIT Dhanbad, IIT Varanasi and IIT Roorke have clear evidence of fabrication, data falsification, data misinterpretations and duplications.
The IIT Roorke cow-urine paper is now under active investigation (see pic below).
I believe more will follow, once official notifications of concerns are sent to each journal's integrity office.
This is public (tax) money spent on fraud and deception to uphold a whole pseudoscience industry in India. Shameful.
For the kind attention of the public please!
All through the night, I performed a post publication peer review of this IIT Roorke paper that claimed that it identified chemical components in cow urine that could highly efectively kill Chikungunya virus in lab conditions.

There are serious concerns in the paper that mandate post publication Editorial Review from the Journal and Publication Integrity Office, and need for validation of findings... that could mandate a retraction as per COPE Guidelines. A document with all concerns explained has been emailed to:

A lay summary of major concerns are provided below:
🔴Possible areas of data fabrication, manipulation, and internal contradictions in the study claiming antiviral activity of cow urine distillate (CUD).
🔴Identical efficacy values reported for different experimental conditions, suggesting possible data duplication or carryover.
🔴Methodological flaws, including testing at cytotoxic concentrations, invalidating antiviral claims.
🔴Manipulation of synergy thresholds, using non-standard cut-offs to falsely claim synergism.
🔴Inconsistent and contradictory GC–MS datasets, with discrepancies in metabolite identification and absent compounds.
🔴Identification of synthetic pharmaceuticals, such as medroxyprogesterone, as natural metabolites, indicating contamination or misreporting.
🔴Implausible detection of prostaglandin A1, which is unstable and unlikely to survive high-temperature distillation.
🔴Lack of direct evidence linking identified metabolites to antiviral effects, with concentrations in CUD unverified.
🔴Cytotoxicity confounding viral inhibition results, with host cell death possibly causing false positives.
🔴Weak in silico and biochemical data, with docking scores and enzyme inhibition results unreliable.
🔴Structural inaccuracies in molecular docking, such as improbable hydrogen bonds.
🔴Statistical and analytical misrepresentations, including inappropriate synergy thresholds and wide variability without proper significance testing.
🔴Undeclared conflicts of interest, as funding sources and author affiliations favor traditional and cow-derived products.
🔴Numerous inconsistencies across figures and tables, including contradictory retention times and unlabelled peaks, undermining data credibility.
Requesting for action from the Journal
@ACSPublications@AmerChemSociety@ACSReactions
➡️Initiate an editorial review under ACS and COPE guidelines.
➡️Obtain raw data: plaque counts, cell viability, GC–MS spectra, and metabolite quantification.Verify compound identifications and concentrations with independent analysis.
➡️Reassess the validity of the claimed antiviral mechanism based on verified data.
➡️Reevaluate synergy analyses using standard criteria.
➡️Consider issuing an Expression of Concern pending investigation.
➡️If unresolved, proceed with retraction to protect scientific integrity and public health.
1/2🚨Air India 171 crash ✈️🔥 New simulator data seems to indicate "crew innocence" in one of India's deadliest aviation disasters - the AI 171 crash, which killed 260 people.
Fresh tests on a Boeing 787 Level D full‑flight simulator, by the Federation of Indian Pilots (FIP), which represents roughly 6,000 pilots, seem to indicate that the fuel switches were in RUN for the first 11 seconds of the flight -- for the engine behaviour described in AAIB's preliminary report.
If correct, neither Capt Sumeet Sabharwal nor First Officer Clive Kunder touched the fuel switches till both engines had flamed out. And they seem to have touched the switches only to attempt engine restart by recycling fuel-switches; which forms part of their "to-do" memory items in a dual-engine failure.
The SIM data shows this by challenging the relight sequence implied in the AAIB report.
Across the test runs, when the simulator reaches the points corresponding to the crew's restart commands (08:08:52 and 08:08:56 UTC in the AAIB timeline), N2 is already well below minimum idle and fuel flow is effectively zero.
In other words, by the time the crew commanded the restart, the engines were already too slow for a successful crew-commanded relight.
The data instead points to any genuine relight behaviour occurring earlier — within seconds of fuel interruption, while the fuel switches were still in RUN and the engine computer (FADEC) still had sufficient core speed and electrical power available to attempt recovery.
That changes the implied sequence from:
Capt Sumeet moves fuel switches to CUTOFF ➜ engines fail ➜ engines go below minimum idle ➜ First Officer Clive moves fuel switches back to RUN
to:
Fuel switches in RUN ➜ Engine failure ➜ FADEC attempts recovery ➜ engines decay below minimum idle at 08:08:47 UTC ➜ Fuel switches in RUN till 08:08:50 UTC ➜ Pilots detect loss of thrust ➜ Capt Sumeet takes controls, FO Clive attempts fuel-switch recycle
For engine 1 ➜ FO Clive moves fuel switch 1 from RUN to CUTOFF at 08:08:50 UTC ➜ Moves it back from CUTOFF to RUN at 08:08:52 UTC ➜ FADEC attempts relight fails for engine 1 ➜ Aborts, insufficient power source
For engine 2 ➜ FO Clive moves fuel switch 2 from RUN to CUTOFF at 08:08:54 UTC ➜ Moves it back from CUTOFF to RUN at 08:08:56 UTC ➜ FADEC does not attempt relight for engine 2 ➜ FADEC does not permit dual engine start in insufficient power configuration.

@JethmalaniM@PriyankKharge So, you doing this laundry service for RSS is probono or have you been retained by RSS or BJP?
If it’s RSS, how are they going to pay you? coz, to raise an invoice on them you need their PAN, GST or some registration? No??
IMPORTANT: Brent crude slips to $79.33 a barrel. When crude rises, consumers are told fuel prices must go up. When crude falls, will petrol and diesel prices come down too? Or is the middle class destined to be the government’s favourite revenue source? 🤔
The U.S dropped charges against Adani the same week Modi was in Norway. I asked Norway’s sovereign wealth fund how they view Adani’s companies in light of this development. They did not respond to the question.
BJP objected to the discrepancies in Meenakshi Natrajan nomination: ECI Rejected the nomination.
JMM-Congress objected to discrepancies in the Parimal Nathwani nomination: ECI gave him 24 hours to rectify the mistake.
Tight slap on the people, who feel INDIA has democracy or elections are free and fair.
PS: Parimal Nathwani is an Employee of Mukesh Ambani.
A group of senior IAS officers living in New Moti Bagh, Delhi where many top bureaucrats reside.
They took money meant for Indian athletes and spent it on luxury facilities for themselves.
• ₹6.2 crore from the National Sports Development Fund (NSDF) • ₹2.8 crore from Khelo India
Instead of helping athletes, the funds were used to build:
• Temperature-controlled swimming pools • Premium badminton courts • State-of-the-art squash courts • Private gyms and health clubs • Luxury billiards rooms
The executive committee that approved the spending was largely made up of the same senior bureaucrats who benefited from it.
Meanwhile, athlete funding reportedly fell by more than 50%.
Indian athletes got less 🤡
Bureaucrats got luxury clubs 🤐
I want to do a public service announcement for people who are desperate to come to Europe. I have seen many, many desperate Indian students doing 12 hours of delivery/ restaurant / gig work, extremely underpaid and abused in Berlin and this really bothers me.
Please don’t take out huge loans and go
into debt to get admitted to third rate private universities here. You will face extreme hardship, both mental and financial, for little to no reward.
There many universities in Germany which are essentially visa mills. They sell you a dream- that if you manage to somehow get to Europe, you will be financially sorted for life and there will be an abundance of job offers for you to pick and choose from, once you graduate.
These universities are very scammy, have a low barrier to entry (you can more or less buy a seat), and extremely low teaching standards. Students who come here are forced to take up underpaid and often illegal gig work to survive and they are easy targets for shady companies.
And then they realize that their university degree is pretty much worthless. Both in Germany and in India.
If you do want to come to Germany, apply
to the state run universities here. These are usually cheap but very competitive and have usually quite high standards.
Please don’t take out a 30 lakh loan, or sell family land to fall for a scam. If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is not true.
Also the Indians on X who are relentlessly advising young people to get out of the country by hook or by crook, should perhaps exercise some caution knowing that there are impressionable young people out there who might do stupid things.
@MEAIndia Looks like the MEA slept during active voice lessons and very attentive during passive voice lessons!
Now understood Why Modi said #LavanenaBhojyam
Nitin Gadkari is the Minister for Highways. He won't comment on the dismal state of highways, potholes, and new bridges.
Hardeep Puri is the Petroleum Minister, but all the talking about ethanol is done by Gadkari.
Nitin Gadkari’s son's company, Cian Agro, is minting money selling ethanol. The conflict of interest is glaring. If we raise such issues, we are termed Pakistanis.
Even RW supporters who own vehicles are suffering with this forced ethanol implementation. Abdul ko tight karne ke chakkar me tum khud tight ho rahe ho.
@ShamikaRavi Because all the tax money of the South states unfortunately go to the BJP ruled BIMARU states. How, then, will the non-BJP states have good fiscal health? You can post that tax contribution vs devolution chart & can explain better!

I visited the southernmost tip of India.
I stood at Indira Point. I walked under trees that have stood for centuries. I dove into coral reefs among the most vibrant on earth.
And I sat with the people who live there. Tribal communities, whose land is being taken away by violating the Forest Rights Act. Settlers, many of them former soldiers, placed on these islands by the Indian government, who aren’t getting fair compensation.
The Modi government and BJP tells you Great Nicobar Project is about defence. It is not.
Expand INS Baaz - we will back the government fully. The Navy has been asking for expansion for five years - it has been ignored.
They tell you it is about a transhipment port. It is not. India is already building one in Kerala, which is on the mainland.
What it actually is: 1.5 crore trees felled. Coral reefs erased from official maps. Soldiers and tribals displaced - so one businessman can build hotels and casinos on India’s most irreplaceable ecological land.
Every young Indian I have spoken to understands this. You know that no amount of profit is worth destroying what can never be recovered.
I stand for ecologically balanced development. These islands can be the most extraordinary sustainable destination the world has ever seen. That is the India worth fighting for.

“During my last pregnancies, my uterus would slip down repeatedly... My mother-in-law suggested pushing the uterus back using my finger.”
In #Maharashtra’s Nandurbar district, girls as young as 4 start fetching water with their mothers and grandmothers.
For many, this becomes a lifetime of carrying water — through school-going years, menstruation, pregnancy and illness.
If women do not fetch #water, the family has no water.
The burden is not just the long walk.
Many #women said they are forced to bathe and wash during menstruation in stagnant pools shared with livestock.
Healthcare facilities remain distant, and their struggles remain largely undocumented.
But until water reaches these hamlets, women will keep carrying it — through childhood, menstruation, pregnancy and illness.

If Rajesh Exports scam is true, 3 massive questions are haunting the govt in its face:
1. Why did LIC invest in it so heavily when all MFs and Insurance companies stayed away
2. Why did major investors leave before retail investors got the news of SEBI action
3. MOST IMPORTANTLY, Rajesh Export did 158 billion USD exports in the last 5 years, if this is not correct, ARE WE SURE OUR EXPORTS NUMBERS ARE CORRECT (on which the govt is basing all its confidence)
Is this is the start of the economic tsunami that’s about to hit us ?
Every new layer in the Rajesh Exports case makes the story look even more bizarre..
On 21st May 2021, Brickwork Ratings downgraded the company from A- straight to D. Not one notch. Not two notches. Directly to default.
Anyone who understands credit markets knows this is not normal. Rating agencies typically take such an extreme step only when they believe the stress is severe, credibility is questionable or there are deeper concerns around repayment itself alongside defaults..
Now think like a normal investor.
If a company gets downgraded to default, most retail shareholders would immediately exit the stock.
But then comes the real shocker.
LIC held roughly 8.86% before the downgrade.
Instead of reducing exposure after a default rating… LIC actually increased its stake to nearly 11.22% subsequently.
Why?
What was the investment thesis after a direct downgrade to D?
What additional comfort emerged post default that justified increasing exposure using public money?
And this is where the larger problem lies with many PSU investment decisions.
There is often no accountability for inaction.
When the stock was trading near Rs 600 even after the downgrade phase, LIC still had ample opportunity to exit and preserve capital. Instead, over the next 4 years, the stock collapsed towards Rs 100 and yet nothing meaningful happened.
Now with SEBI’s explosive allegations around potentially misrepresented revenues running into lakh crores, the situation looks even more unbelievable in hindsight.
This is exactly how public money quietly gets destroyed.
No aggressive review.
No accountability.
No risk management urgency.
No institutional ownership responsibility.
And in all probability, just like several other cases in Indian markets, the holding may simply keep sitting there till it eventually becomes another write off buried inside a giant portfolio.
The Rajesh Exports story is no longer just about one company.
It is equally about the quality of institutional decision making in India.
5 bright young lives lost too early.
1. Ritik Mishra (21), Lakhimpur Kheri, UP
2. Unnamed boy (17), Goa
3. Anshika Pandey (20), Adarsh Nagar, Delhi
4. Pradeep Meghwal (22), Jhunjhunu, RJ
5. Akanksha Chaturvedi (18), Mauganj, MP
All died by su*c*e after NEET paper leak, exam cancellation, and Re-NEET announcement.
In any functional democracy, the education minister would’ve resigned by now.
But here, lives of young citizens matter as much as cockroaches to those in power.
