*A PERSONAL AND COMMUNAL LOSS*

It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that I received the news of the passing of Suliyat Yetunde Oguns, who departed this life peacefully in her sleep this evening.

Her passing is deeply personal, yet it is also a communal loss. Beyond the grief of family and loved ones, a community has lost a life that formed part of its shared story, relationships, and collective experience.

At a moment such as this, words often fall short of expressing the depth of our sorrow. We can only acknowledge the pain of this sudden departure and extend our heartfelt condolences to the Oguns family, particularly everyone who shared a close bond with Suliyat.

May OLODUMARE grant the family the strength to bear this irreparable loss, comfort all who mourn her, and grant her eternal rest.

May her memory remain a blessing, and may the Almighty give the family peace and courage in the days ahead.
