I just want to say thank you Jon Anik. You probably don’t remember this but years ago at a UFC Expo in Las Vegas you were up on stage with part of the cast of the Expendables. (It might have been Expendables 3 that was being released at the time) Dolph Lundgren was up there and I stood in line to ask a question. I was nervous and asked Dolph what he thought of the Jon Jones vs Alexander Gustafsson fight. He said he hadn’t watched it. It was a total buzz kill and I didn’t really have a follow up question because I figured him being from Sweden he would have watched it. You spoke up and backed me up and said something like it was only one of the best UFC fights ever. I want to say thank you for having my back. You are a huge asset to the sport and I really appreciate you!
Tesla Invents Breathable Glass?
Tesla has filed a patent for a new kind of panoramic roof glass that could make vehicles quieter, cooler, and more efficient.
Instead of being a normal solid glass roof, the design uses multiple layers of glass with a small air gap inside. The inner glass layer has tiny holes. Tesla can push heated or cooled air through that gap and into the cabin, turning the roof into part of the climate-control system.
The same holes and air chambers can also absorb road, wind, and tire noise. By changing the hole size, spacing, glass thickness, and air gap, Tesla can tune the roof to block specific sounds.
The big idea is that Tesla’s glass roof would no longer just let in light. It could also help cool the cabin, reduce HVAC energy use, improve range slightly in hot weather, and make the car quieter and more comfortable.
@Jones1@cybertruck It is wild how many people don’t really care to try out a Cybertruck. After riding in one everything else feels like stepping back into the past. I rode in the backseat for part of our road trip home yesterday and it was nice even in the backseat. Quiet and smooth ride.
Be a builder, which is what you are doing. Keep going. There will always be naysayers when you are building things. My family and I have wanted legit Book of Mormon series for a long time. AI can be used for good and for bad like anything else. The animated Book of Mormon videos are something we had as a kid and I think it would be great seeing this series come to life. Keep it up!
Covered bed with the tonneau cover is a great feature. You can fill up the bed and once the cover and the tailgate are shut you wouldn’t know anything is in there.
Wasn’t looking forward to charging for 50 minutes but after we all used the restrooms and got some food and walked our dog it was pretty much time to hit the road again. A good rest stop!
Aristotle didn't think young people should study politics.
Near the beginning of the Nicomachean Ethics, he says:
"This is why a youth is not a suitable student of political science; for he lacks experience of the actions in life, which are the subject and premises of our arguments."
Politics, Aristotle argues, isn't like mathematics, where the same formula always produces the same answer. It deals with human beings, and human beings are messy, emotional, inconsistent, and endlessly complicated. Understanding them requires living.
Someone who has never managed a family, worked through failure, experienced betrayal, or carried real responsibility simply hasn't seen enough of life to judge it well. They may know the theories, but they don't yet know people.
That's why Aristotle thought experience was one of the greatest teachers. Wisdom doesn't come from reading another book or winning another argument. It comes from years of observing how people actually behave and learning the difference between what sounds good and what is good.
It's an interesting idea because modern society assumes the opposite. We believe that more information automatically leads to better judgment. Aristotle wasn't convinced. He believed knowledge without experience was incomplete.
In other words, you could memorize every political theory ever written and still lack the wisdom needed to govern well.

@butala_aryan Looks like a sleek sneaker. So many wrap possibilities with these as well. Tesla is making the future now. Fun to see these roll out! Looking forward to seeing them out in the wild.
