I went back and watched the Packers drop backs on film for the 4th time and I don’t know if we’ll ever see anything like it ever again.

I’m not gonna beat a dead horse with a two hour long video but there’s some key things that I’m taking away from it.

1. The running backs need to lock in. They specifically need to own their assignment and trust it. They also need to stop staring at exactly where they are going, it’s a huge tell to the defense on what the protection will be.

2. Right guard needs to be better. I don’t know if he’s physically capable, and tbh he’s probably more a center at most than a guard right now. No lateral quickness.

3. Against a team like the Vikings when the Packers decide to throw the ball, they need to as often as possible, being in a position where there is a tight end and running back attached to the box. Need a multiple answer 0 Blitz mug option at all times. If they bail out, live in the chip checkdown world.

4. The bench/ role player tight ends NEED to lock in. If they can’t, the packers need to get new TE 3’s & 4’s. One of the many reasons the game was blown (pass protection)

5. Stop using center staring through legs silent cadence. It’s costing you games and it has been on the road in loud environments for years.

6. Find creative short yardage packaged plays. A QB sneak isn’t the answer. Maybe go watch some Chiefs film and steal their plays.

7. Find creative quick ways to get the ball in space, it’s an extension of the run game. No more second and long runs.
