Myanmar’s junta is still bombing in spite of a devastating earthquake and a ceasefire announced by some opponents in the face of the disaster, reports @IrrawaddyNews. Air raids even took place near the epicentre as well as northern Shan State, it said. #WhatsHappeningInMyanmar

The Myanmar military’s attacks against innocent people, including today’s airstrike in Sagaing, is enabled by world indifference and those supplying them with weapons. How many Myanmar children need to die before world leaders take strong, coordinated action to stop this carnage?
Pleased to announce Matthew Miller as the next @StateDeptSpox. Matt's experience in government and deep understanding of foreign policy will serve us well as we continue to navigate communicating on complex global challenges. I'm grateful he has agreed to step into this role.
Only last week, the UN’s HRC passed a resolution that condemned the junta’s deliberate use of force against civilians and called on the junta to immediately cease all air strikes. The junta has answered in the only way it know how – through intensified atrocities and bloodshed.
Another airstrike by Myanmar's military on civilians in Sagaing. Dozens killed.
Still no US, UK, EU ban on selling aviation fuel to these criminals. Pathetic.
@POTUS@RishiSunak@vonderleyen when will you take action to protect Myanmar's civilians #WhatsHappeningInMyanmar
@SecBlinken@UN Kindly help our Myanmar people. Military is burning many houses everyday in Burma. Many people are homeless and no food in Sagaing Division. Military is attacking civilians by air strikes. 🥲🥲 #WhatsHappeningInMyanmar https://t.co/nuicN01Doq
@antonioguterres@UN Myanmar military is killing own people and burning down many villages. #UN still can settle this problems. #UN only help Ukraine but #UN can not help Myanmar people. Why? #WhatsHappeningInMyanmar
@POTUS Mr President, we Myanmar people are happy for your standing and helping them. But our #NUG and Myanmar people also need your support to resume democracy because Myanmar military are killing young children and civilians and burning down many villages.#WhatsHappeningInMyanmar
