Sir Jacob Rees-Mogg says London must prepare for war so war does not happen.

He cites Salisbury, a London murder blamed on Moscow, Ukraine, and Russian submarines near British undersea cables.

On economic size, he has a point: Britain is about $4T, Russia about $2.6T.

But he avoids the harder question: why would Russia want Britain? The answer is NATO.

Hit Poland or the Baltics, and London is in.

Tucker’s point is simpler: Britain is already helping Ukraine fight Russia, so Moscow sees Britain as a party to the conflict.

Prepare for a war you cannot explain, and the explanation may come later as an alliance obligation.

Zelensky, citing new data, says more than 8,000 North Korean troops are already on Russian soil and the next 10,000 are being picked for training, on top of the 14,000 to 15,000 Pyongyang has sent since 2024.

That warning lands right as Seoul summoned Ukraine's envoy, furious that Kyiv went public with the transfer of two captured North Korean soldiers to South Korea, a handoff Seoul says was meant to stay secret, before his office denied any such agreement ever existed.

Ukraine has spent months asking Seoul for air defense help, and embarrassing it over a secret it asked Kyiv to keep makes that ask a lot harder just as the North Korean threat grows.

🇷🇺Russia just raised its official army size again - and the pattern is unmistakable:

Throughout 2026, Putin has signed successive decrees expanding the authorized strength of Russia’s armed forces. After an increase in July, he raised the figures again yesterday to about 2,441,630, including 1,550,500 military personnel. That is the fourth hike this year.

Since the war began in 2022, the official ceiling for military personnel has risen by 50 percent on paper. Putin is clearly preparing for an escalation; the numbers are hard to read any other way.

Is this a signal that a larger offensive is coming?
