Real story from last year: Client told me he had quotes that were 40–50 % cheaper from others.I didn’t budge on price.
I just kept answering his questions with calm, detailed, thoughtful replies. Asked sharp questions back.

Two days later he booked me at full rate.

Ended up charging 2.3× the lowest quote he received.

Moral:
When they trust YOU more than they trust saving money, price stops mattering.
