@nealrogers I have a message from LifeTime that says ““The reroute would be very simple: straight instead of left, then left three miles later. Then you’re back on course”I was already asking if they had a plan at 11am on Friday. It was also talked about at the press conference.
Good read by @amrook. Life Time's Kimo Seymour is right, of course, that they can't control the weather. However he doesn't address whether or not Life Time could have simply detoured around the mud bog at Mile 11 that destroyed so many bikes, ended so many races.
@MikeBike67@Cyclingnewsfeed I am advocating to have a fair playing field like the pro men do. I have always said there needs to be a split between pro and amateur field because the “rules” required to keep the front end fair should not take away from the experience of the masses.
Advice for young athletes - Don't look at yearly training numbers from top pros & try to duplicate it. Takes years to build foundation needed. You'll burn out if you try to jump straight to it. Did 12-14 quality hrs/wk when I started off-season training & slowly worked my way up.
This week on the Refresh, Kenny and Adam chat about the World Championships held in Leogang, Austria. They catch up with @EEHuck@Sofithevilla@Keegels99 and Riley Amos about their experiences at this year's crazy event. 👉 the 🔗 for the full scoop. https://t.co/yjS8Vjj4m7
