The No. 1 Lakers are headed to the MIAA Div. 2 final four after blanking the No. 9 Sachems. Delaney Moquin gets the shut out victory with 14 strikeouts. The Sachems season comes to an end, finishing with a 17-6 record.

On to the Elite Eight! Delaney Moquin allowed just one hit and struck out 13 batters, as the top-ranked SL softball team beat #16 Wakefield, 10-1, today. The Lakers (20-3) will host #9 Middleborough on Sunday at 4 PM.

What a day for Delaney Moquin, who 1) tossed a complete-game 1-hitter to notch her 15th shutout of the season; 2) drove in 8 runs at the plate; and 3) became the program's all-time home run leader by crushing a pair of 3-run homers. We're not making this up!
