This scene is one of my favorites because it reveals the deep similarity between Dicle and Erkan’s pain, even though they experienced it in completely different ways.
Dicle lived in a prison with walls she could touch: a home that isolated her from the world and a body that carried the scars of everything she endured. Her pain was external, shaped by the place and circumstances that trapped her.
Erkan’s prison, however, was an invisible one, built inside his soul. There were no walls trapping his body, but over the years, he lost parts of his dreams, his choices, and even his true self that he hid away in order to become the person others wanted him to be.
While Dicle was trying to escape a home that imprisoned her body, Erkan was trying to escape a life that imprisoned his soul.
That’s why their connection was so powerful. They recognized a familiar kind of pain in each other. Dicle understood what it meant to live without freedom, and Erkan knew what it meant to live without being able to truly be himself.
They weren’t just saving each other. They were meeting at the same wound: two people who had been stripped of their freedom and identity, only to find in one another someone who could say: You can finally be yourself with me.

@LadyG293536 Aynen oyle.
O diziden ayrildi siz ondan ayrilamadiniz. Aybuke'nin adini anmadan favinizdan bahsedemiyorsunuz.
