In the heart of Goma, DRC @SogaChess is transforming waste plastic into custom made recycled @thegiftofchess chess sets. These simple chess sets will be used as a tool for hope, education and opportunity for the generation of displaced children across the DRC.

We Are Turning Plastic Waste into Chess Sets in Goma DRC 🇨🇩

After months of preparation, we are proud to launch the production of the “@thegiftofchess “ chess sets made from recycled plastic.

This initiative allows us to fight plastic pollution while making chess more accessible in our community. Some of the chess sets produced will be distributed free of charge to schools, orphanages, and community centers, while others will be sold to help ensure the long-term sustainability of the project.

Every piece of recycled plastic becomes a new opportunity to learn, play, and protect our environment.
