then withering when my season came,
falling gently to the earth,
without questions, without sorrow,
without ever having to understand
the loneliness of being alive.
I was born alone,
and I grew beneath the silence of loneliness.
No one raised me I learned to raise myself,
to carry my own wounds,
to wipe my own tears,
to walk through life without a hand to hold.
And one day, I will leave alone.
My name will fade,
my footsteps will disappear,
and everything I once called me
will return to silence.
Sometimes I wish I had been a leaf upon a tree
born quietly in spring,
dancing for a little while beneath the sun,

Plato believed that people should seek truth beyond appearances. I think this idea is still relevant today because many people accept opinions without examining them.
Jami’ at-Tirmidhi 2344, Sunan Ibn Majah 4164
The birds do not know where their food will come from tomorrow, yet they leave their nests every morning and return with what they need. Trust Allah, do your part, and leave the outcome to Him.
Thinking about your future, remember these words of the Prophet ﷺ:
“If you were to rely upon Allah with the reliance He is due, He would provide for you as He provides for the birds: they go out hungry in the morning and return full in the evening.”
One day, when death is near, a question will still remain in my heart,
Where did I belong?
I’ve spent my whole life searching for a place to call home, yet deep inside I always knew it didn’t exist. Some people find their place in this world. I spent my life looking for mine.
