With 18.3% of Malaysia’s prison population made up of foreign nationals, many of whom face barriers to justice—language, legal systems, and access to consular assistance—the need for focused legal support is urgent. As we prepare to host a training session aimed at addressing these challenges, we spent the day visiting the venue, meeting partners, and ensuring everything is ready for our guests.
