You mock India’s GDP growth simply because you hate seeing India do better. You just can’t digest the fact that India is outperforming several major economies.

And remember, your ecosystem ruled India for over six decades. So when you selectively showcase everything that is still poor or broken, you are also questioning your own failures.

Modi cannot fix every problem accumulated over six decades in just one decade. Yet, in that one decade, his govt has delivered more visible transformation than your ecosystem managed to achieve in more than six decades.

Today’s citizen-led march at Lalbagh brought together Bengalureans, young and old, demanding that our green spaces are conserved and protected.

Criminal cases should be decided by courts, not by political committees. This move undermines the rule of law.

Though the Karnataka High Court has repeatedly reprimanded the State Government for misusing Cabinet decisions to withdraw cases under Section 321 CrPC/Section 360 BNSS, the State seems to have learnt nothing.

The withdrawal of cases on three occasions through Cabinet decisions has been stayed, and the High Court has come down heavily on the government in the Hubballi riots case as well.

Yet, shamelessly ignoring the court’s observations, the State has once again constituted a Cabinet Sub-Committee to facilitate withdrawal of cases.

How many times will the government attempt to bypass the law?
