JUST IN: Florida becomes the first state to stop welfare cash benefits from being used for tattoos, video games, theme park tickets, vapes, p**n, and more.
People were using welfare to pay for tattoos and p**n?!?!
This crackdown must happen nationwide!
I’m proud of being Texan.
I’m not proud of Texas in 2026.
Texas has turned into the biggest embarrassment in America.
People are getting arrested for speaking at City Councils.
City Councils are removing Public Comment.
Weed gets treated like Heroin and Cocaine.
H-1Bs are consuming cities.
Texas Politicians are all rich AF while Texans are getting screwed over with crazy property taxes.
The list of stuff going wrong in Texas goes on and on.
CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN THIS TO ME.
My friend pays $487 a month for health insurance.
That’s $5,844 a year.
He needed an MRI after hurting his shoulder.
Insurance-approved facility.
Insurance-approved doctor.
Everything “in network.”
The bill was $2,940.
Insurance negotiated it down to $1,860.
His deductible?
$2,500.
So he paid the $1,860.
Meaning he’ll spend at least $7,704 this year between premiums and that one scan before insurance meaningfully does anything.
He asked the billing office what the uninsured cash price was.
$1,100.
So somehow having insurance made the MRI $760 more expensive for him.
Very cool.
What exactly are we insuring against again?
I rarely ask for repost but if you could share this….heartbreaking they are asking for help and can’t even get a response
@SarahHuckabee
Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, I am sitting at Arkansas Children’s Hospital with my 2-year-old son, Turner, and I can literally see the State Capitol from his hospital window. We will be here until Sunday at the earliest, and possibly longer if things do not go the way we hope. His doctors are telling us that even when Turner is stable enough to leave the hospital, he needs significant support to keep him safe at home. That support is available through Arkansas’s CES Waiver, but Turner cannot access it because he is sitting on the waiting list.
I have tried countless times to set up a meeting with you and have been turned down every time. So this time, I am asking you to come to us. Please come visit Turner and me at Arkansas Children’s Hospital. Come see for yourself how sick he is. Let me tell you what it is like to have a 2-year-old with a rare, progressive neurodegenerative disease and severe epilepsy, and what it is like to be told that your child needs more support to safely live at home while also being told that the state support meant for children like him is unavailable because of a waiting list.
Let me tell you what this is doing to our family too. I am missing work right now because my child is hospitalized. I miss work for appointments, hospital stays, seizures, therapies, illnesses, and all of the things that come with raising a medically complex child. I am exactly where I need to be, beside my son, but families cannot keep being expected to absorb lost income while also being denied the very supports that could help keep their children safe at home.
Governor Sanders, I am not asking you to read another report about the CES Waiver waitlist. I am asking you to come meet one of the children sitting on it. Turner is an Arkansas child, and he needs help now, not years from now. Please come see him, sit with us for a few minutes, and let me tell you what his doctors are saying he needs when he goes home. I want you to see for yourself what this waiting list actually looks like for a family living it.

I have undertaken this project to put a face to 9/11 by posting photos of everyone killed that day. If after everything that happened you can vote for the ideology that caused it then it's as if you are killing them yourself! Pictured below was 29 year old Christopher Amoroso who was a Port Authority police officer. Here he is famously shown helping a pregnant woman out of the towers. He ran back in four times and was killed when the North Tower imploded. He left behind a wife and 19 month old daughter and to forget even a single one of these people is a blasphemy!
THIS SHOULD ENRAGE THE WORLD.
Christians are being killed for their faith in Nigeria while much of the world barely notices.
Churches attacked. Families terrorized. Believers kidnapped and murdered. People paying the ultimate price because they refuse to abandon Jesus Christ.
Imagine the global outrage if this were happening to almost any other religious group.
Their lives matter. Their faith matters. Their suffering matters.
Stop looking away. Pray for Nigeria. Stand with persecuted Christians.
Four young men from Raleigh County were killed when their vehicle went off an elevated interstate in Charleston and fell into a lot below.
James McDaniel, 20; Colten Garcia, 20; Kaden Ashby, 21; and Kaiden Radford, 21, were all pronounced dead at the scene.
This is the fifth time since 2020 a vehicle has gone over the side at that same location.
West Virginia transportation officials say they were already planning high-friction surface treatment for the elevated sections.
Tragic loss. Prayers for their families.
Estas imágenes hablan por si solas de la tragedia de #Nepal. Su Gobierno confirma que la cifra podria ser superior a los 10.000 muertos. Probablemente, muchos de ellos serán imposible de encontrar.
We pay the premiums. We pay the deductibles. We pay the copays.
Then when we actually need care, an insurance company gets to decide whether it will pay.
Healthcare should exist to keep people alive and healthy, not to maximize shareholder returns.
Something has to change.
