🕊️ Civilian Lives Matter
But Let’s Talk About Military Truth
I do not support harming civilians. But in this conflict between Cambodia and Thailand, there are uncomfortable truths that must be addressed, especially about military power, geography, and responsibility.
⸻
🎯 Cambodia’s Military Has No Precision Tools
Cambodia doesn’t have fighter jets or guided missiles. Our army uses mortars and artillery, not precision weapons. Once fired, these weapons cannot be redirected, especially under pressure.
Compare that to Thailand, which has F‑16s, drones, surveillance systems, and modern command infrastructure. It’s not the same battlefield.
⸻
🗺️ Geography: A Critical Factor
Thai civilians live near the conflict zone. On the Cambodian side, it’s mostly military bases, not villages. So when fighting breaks out, the chance of Thai civilian areas being hit is higher, even unintentionally.
That’s not an excuse. It’s a geographic and strategic reality.
⸻
❓ Honest Question: Why Escalate?
If Thailand understands that Cambodia lacks precision, and that their own civilians live close to the border
Why escalate the conflict with F‑16 bombings?
Thailand’s military knows exactly what Cambodia can and cannot do. Which raises a serious question:
📌”Is this a tactical decision to provoke or politically justify broader military action?”
⸻
⚖️ Let’s Be Real
This is not a balanced war. Cambodia has fewer tools, less control, and greater risk of error.
Instead of blame, what’s needed is context, restraint, and peace—not one-sided outrage.
My deepest condolences go to the innocent civilians, especially the small children—who lost their lives in this conflict. No life should be lost in war, and no civilian should suffer for political or military decisions.
