Great few days in Dallas at the 2026 Grassroots Symposium. Sol of the Cities connected with friends, peers and changemakers using the beautiful game for good. We shared challenges, ideas and solutions to expand opportunity for youth. #SolOfTheCities

During Serve-to-Play, youth compete AND serve. This season, that included supporting Sol Haven, helping young people build stability and independence.

Service is our social currency. Play With Purpose.

Week 4 wrapped up the final regular szn of #ServeToPlay Szn 6. ⚽🐾

Youth partnered with
The Bond Between, making cat toys & collecting pet supplies for local rescue animals.

This summer, 300+ youth participated each week and completed 1,160 hours of community service!

🏆 Championship Sunday capped an outstanding #ServetoPlay Season 6. The top teams battled for the title with high level futsal and great sportsmanship. Capital City defended the girls title. Roosevelt upset No. 1 Prior Lake, then beat Como Park by 2 goals to win the boys chip!

Social media has convinced too many American youth soccer families that collecting alphabet league badges and posting highlights is the priority. The reality? Most players won’t play beyond youth soccer. Development, enjoyment, and life skills should come first.
