I write threads explaining smart contract risk to people who will never read the audit. Said like that, it sounds fine.
Said as "I convince strangers to trust code neither of us fully understands, using nothing but a confident tone," it suddenly sounds like a scam.
Same job. I just stopped hiding how good I am at the second version.
That's the part nobody admits about "my job sounds insane" jokes. They're not confessions, they're the safest way to say something impressive out loud, since nobody can call it bragging while you're laughing.
Put the boring version of your job title next to the unhinged one and see which one actually gets the like.
I only noticed I was doing this because of a contest @RallyOnChain is running that scores you on exactly this: whether your job sounds absurd.
If your job has never sounded fake out loud, you probably haven't described it honestly yet.
