@dwillis541@BBGreatMoments I loved Vinny and I love the Dodgers. I just watched him call Kurt Gibson's walk-off homer B9, first game of the 1988 world series, and I had tears running down my face. Vinny was the Music of My Life, the Dodgers are the scaffolding.
@TekworksLA@BBGreatMoments As a Dodgers fan, I agree 100%, but he went 4/4 last night in the Dodgers come from behind win against SD. It seems I am hating him a little less as he seems to be realizing he gets to play baseball on THE DODGERS! What a privilege!
@MeatJM@SamaHoole I had about the same results, except my LDL was about 190-ish. I was also prescribed a statin. I never picked it up. Good on you. Also, my A1C was perfect and it was a non-fasting blood test.
@SamaHoole Two years ago, I had a detached retina, so I went to the dr after about 8-yrs of not. So, I got the (ab)normal blood tests/ekg. E/thing was perfect, except my "bad" cholesterol. The dr prescribed a statin. I declined. I am a ketovore at 70 and walk at least 10k steps/day.
@QueenMother1976@BetsyRoss1980 You are acting like you care about elders, but what you are doing is reinforcing stereotypes to give yourself some kind of weird social-credit bump.
@BetsyRoss1980@QueenMother1976 Why would you admit that and reinforce elderism? Your browser has a password manager. Take a few minutes to bring yourself up to date. I am 70 and breeze thru this stuff.
@QueenMother1976 Jesus Christ, I am almost 70 and I would rather access my portal than talk to a bot wearing human skin any day. It's very rare that I have called a doctor's office and someone said, "Don't worry, I can help you." They act like I am bothering them.
@SamaHoole I asked my sister's oncologist about that, when he said that after chemo, she should eat whatever she wants to, or can stomach. He told me there were no studies about sugar and cancer---there are, in fact, 100s of them. RIP, Sister!
@MikeBales I think they are good---I like the black ones the best, but, I almost choked to death (as a grown adult) on one that perfectly fit over my windpipe
@MikeBales Well, I think we the people should be paying for the food of our heroes? Firefighters in my town prevented a terrible wildfire from burning us down like Paradise, Ca. Every time I see one of them in the wild, I give them my thanks. I would buy their groceries, if I could.
