I've got AO3 invites if people need invites for AO3. Just message me or reply to this tweet and I can send it to you. It just requires an email address to get an invite. No personal details or anything like that.
@NarrowGucci A 3 day survival rogue-like is very interesting though and I'm curious to see their take on the genre. I'm willing to be that 1 of those Kings of Night is the Nameless King we saw in the trailer. Given just how long it took me to beat him originally, he'll ruin my run for sure.
@NarrowGucci The site lists both single player and multi-player though. I'm definitely waiting till we know a lot more before I consider it. It's a bit odd seeing previous bosses in an Elden Ring setting.
@NarrowGucci@MordredOW@YasuhiroKitao Yeah, & the site does list both single player & multi-player, so I'm going to wait until we know more. It's not going to be an immediate pre-order for me since at this point I'm not really sure what we're in for.
@NarrowGucci@MordredOW@YasuhiroKitao I really, really hope single player is allowed or else I'm screwed. My laptop can't handle gaming anymore & I've had no need for PS+. I'm not getting it just for 1 game. It's a little odd seeing so many elements from previous games in it too. Cautiously optimistic though.
The illegal wildlife trade is one of three main threats to wild cheetahs. In the Horn of Africa, the trade is pushing cheetah populations toward a critical juncture. According to estimates, fewer than 500 adult and adolescent cheetahs remain in the wild in the region. However, approximately 200 to 300 cubs are removed from the wild every year, and smuggled out of the Horn of Africa to meet the demand for exotic pets.
Much of the trade in live cheetahs occurs between the Horn of Africa and the Arabian Peninsula, where cheetahs are illegally purchased as pets. In part, the trade is catalyzed by poverty in the source countries. Human-wildlife conflict plays a role too. Cheetahs are removed from the wild to prevent livestock predation, as a result of livestock losses mistakenly attributed to cheetahs. Climate change is compounding these threats. Droughts are a major source of human-wildlife conflict in the Horn of Africa, and climate change is making the region’s droughts even more severe.
So, how is the Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF) helping to combat the illegal wildlife trade? CCF works with governments in the Horn of Africa and the Arabian Peninsula to address the trade. In Somaliland, CCF supports wildlife seizure missions with the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MoECC), and provides immediate and long-term care for rescued cheetahs at the Cheetah Rescue and Conservation Centre (CRCC) in Geed-Deeble.
Research and education are a key part of CCF’s efforts too. In 2023, research published by CCF highlighting the impact of the illegal wildlife trade on the Northeast African cheetah, the subspecies found in the Horn of Africa, helped support its uplisting to ‘endangered’. That same year, conservation education programs were launched by CCF in Somaliland’s Awdal region, offering training to boost rural livelihoods by promoting coexistence with wildlife. Now, CCF is building an Education Centre at the Cheetah Rescue and Conservation Centre (CRCC). The Education Centre will be the first of its kind in the region - and will focus on protecting the Northeast African cheetah.

Now I can let my trooper of a quality melee character rest & continue forth with my faith-based character. That said, I need a break from Elden Ring for a while. Need a whole different genre, I think.
I wore the full Radahn set & was using my beloved Bloodhound's Fang as usual. My actual level was 200. I was in no way overleveled for him. I do think I popped a rune arc, but I need to look back at my capture to check.
The fight is still utter bullshit & kudos to those who beat him pre-nerf. Oh, the Golden Brain was the only talisman different from my usual talismans (Erdtree Favor +2 is usually there).
I haven't used a shield since my first 2 hrs of the game. I equipped the Golden Braid, Crimson Seed Talisman +1, Two-Headed Turtle Talisman, & the Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman. Scadutree Blessing at 15, Revered Spirit Ash Blessing at 8.
The fucker is dead!!!! Wanna know what worked in the end? The fucking Brass Shield. Not even upgraded. All I did was bring it out to block attacks instead of trying to roll through them. Can't believe just blocking shit worked.
Trust me, I voted for Harris & I fucking despise that Orange Shithead, but I also wasn't surprised at the results. Very disappointed, but not at all surprised.
I feel like a lot of my fellow Dems need to read this & fully understand why Harris lost and the problems our party are facing. https://t.co/jQwQ11DVG8
We've had some very Bloodborne-esque & Souls-esque areas before, but Enir-Ilim is the area to give me the strongest DS3 vibes. Well, that & Leyndell before we fight Maliketh.
