@LZKorin@vitae_w@CUTELEIROARTSAE@Clarion_AE@AndGameAE @IuriCordei4 @zLoogic You announced Wow as a defense for recolors then denounce it the moment it is no longer fitting to your current agenda.
No one mentioned any comparison until your coworker brought it up.
@Kingwerepyre@mayhem_dracv@ArtixKrieger It's 500-700 players regardless of what month or holiday it is. How is this disingenuous?
Or are you referring to the split-second it went up to 900 players?
@Koreyzzz@GoldRavenAE@SylveonXY123 Yeah even if it doesn't show mobile playercount. This still shows increase/decrease in players over a period of time. It's always been like this. Only time that differs greatly was at launch but that's the case with every mmo.
@LoukAQW Said it once, will say it again. Artix Games are about short bursts of entertainment/weekly content. They don't understand their own niche. If you make it like other MMO out there then players will just go to those mmos and you lose your audience.
@JusticarLuna Reminds me of the time I played many korean mmos. They always re-did the intro and streamlined the early story/areas.
Each iteration ruined the flow of the story and "introduction" by condensing it each time.
@ADV36067606 Let's say running around, grouping them up, and killing them, takes about 1 min to do. That takes roughly 2 hrs to get the lowest tier reward (5000 vials) if you're lucky and get 45 per wave (which you won't).
If 27 avg, it'll take about 3 hrs for one tf of the lowest tier cost.
@ADV36067606 Wonder if they even tried to farm 1 of the TFs themselves. At 1-5 per mob where most packs only have 9-10 mobs at most, if you can have 1 other person to farm it with you. It ranges from 9-45 vials at most.
@SpoohnSpoon Also splitting your already small playerbase against one another in an in-game war then keeping the sides separated for the public dungeon that follows after plus insanely low rng grinds.
Yeah, not the greatest example of "knowing your playerbase".
@SpoohnSpoon The phrase "know your customers" applies here. They know the community is small group of gamers/young adults that don't have a lot of time.
Yet their approach as of late has been to make things more grindy, while being previously praised as the "lunch break" mmo.
@Regretta_@SirRadyX You'd think they would at least make a few daily quests to account for the absurd grind.
The Hatter one has dailies and was about the only good innovation for this "type" of content. I guess they decided to go 2 steps back this time.
@ZantlerTV@Clarion_AE@Kuroki_Gensai1@SylveonXY123@rclaw09 People called Nulgath grinding mindless but I beg to differ. Nulgath grinds had a system of materials and each material was gained from a diff source.
The last nulgath grind we got with the lost fragments forfeited that system and made it a generic kill quest.
@Clarion_AE@ZantlerTV@SylveonXY123@rclaw09 You guys can try making the grinds more enjoyable by making it require more drops with a higher drop rate instead of one drop with an extremely low rate.
Just a thought. Cause one of the most unenjoyable things about the recent grinds is leaving an instance and missing the drop.
