Dear Rรบben Amorim,
I wanted to write to you as a supporter to share a message of encouragement. Please donโt give up.
History shows us that even the very best managers in football needed time. Sir Alex Ferguson took five years to turn things around. Jรผrgen Klopp needed five years to transform Liverpool. Pep Guardiola had instant resources and a ready-made team, yet even he needed two years. Mikel Arteta is only now, after five years, pushing Arsenal to compete for the league. You deserve that same patience and backing too.
You once said things would get worse before they get better. That honesty resonated, and itโs clear to see that you are building something with style, resilience, and long-term vision. The foundations you are laying now can bring lasting success, and you have the leadership qualities to steer Manchester United forward if given the time and trust you deserve.
Please donโt be disheartened by outside noise. The press can be relentless, but as supporters we believe in you. Remember that first game this seasonโwe played Arsenal off the park and were unlucky not to get more from it. That showed the potential of what you are building.
You may need to adapt slightly to the unique demands of the Premier League, but thatโs part of growth. Donโt be afraid to adjust where necessaryโflexibility can make the difference. But above all, stay true to yourself.
We wonโt give up on you if you donโt give up on us. Rome wasnโt built in a day, and neither is a dynasty.
Keep the faith, keep building, and know that weโre behind you.
