8/10 SUMMARY. Yes, you can eat junk foods and get lean if you remain in a calorie deficit. HOWEVER, consuming whole foods will make the process much easier. You will feel fuller, have less cravings, and nourish your body, optimizing recovery and muscle mass preservation.
7/10 While it’s possible to eat unhealthy foods and get leaner, it may make the process much harder. I’m not saying you shouldn’t eat these foods once in a while to enjoy your life, but consuming them on a daily basis may just prolong your weight loss.
