Just before 7p.m. Solano County deputies received a call to assist Vallejo PD w/ call regarding a traffic accident where a person was armed w/ a knife. Shortly after deputies arrived, an officer-involved shooting happened and the person died. Major Crimes Task Force is on scene.

It’s a little after 2:30am and the wind shows no sign of slowing down. Fire, public works and utility personnel have responded to numerous reports of downed trees and powerlines throughout Solano County. Per PG&E there are 24,000+ Solano County customers without power.
