@BraddrofliT@MyRealTakes -services are abusing them, because they don't "look" or "act" like they're suffering. I would rather everyone have a chance for food and care, no matter their circumstances. Otherwise, those who truly need it won't get it and that is the worse case scenario for me.
@BraddrofliT@MyRealTakes - hard to make everyone look presentable and be polite. Now my dad is STILL paying off his student loans in his 60s and will probably never retire because of it, all so we could live and us kids had a chance to do better.
Point is, people need to stop assuming everyone on these-
@ArawnFoxclaw@VivziePop My mom's side is predisposed for dementia and Alzheimer's and I'm TERRIFIED. I'm scared for both me and my mom. The thought of losing her to this breaks my heart and I hope so desperately that we find a cure before it's too late for her.
@ggpeteq@lainie@paultantk My dad did many years ago, but it didn't fix anything and he still had sleep apnea. Bcause it was 20+ years ago, he now has heart problems. But that was because he didn't get any further testing afterwards to make sure it worked. Make sure to do those tests if you go that route!
