Sellers typically pay buyer agent commissions. So does the fee matter? Yes!

It’s true that sellers usually offer compensation for the buyer’s agent. But that money is part of the deal you are paying for either way. The real question is what happens when your agent charges less than what the seller offered?

On a $750,000 Snohomish County home, a typical buyer agent fee at 2.5% is $18,750. WriteMyOffer at 1.5% is $11,250. The $7,500 difference can be credited back to you at closing.
